  16.      Now here's an issue.  Are all the parts to Waffle behaving the
  17. same with respect to ^Z?

  19.      The post I had the problem with was from a mailing list,
  20. gated to a local newsgroup.  The user probably wrote the message
  21. on an MSDOS machine with an editor which stuck on a ^Z.  Since his
  22. message was only one within a digest, I missed half the digest.

  24.      If it *were* a news posting, I believe RNEWS would have stopped
  25. processing, and the rest of the batch would have been lost.  Is that
  26. an issue?  RNEWS should not be losing news just because of an
  27. accidental ^Z.
