  24. Unnecessarily obscure, I agree.  But remember that Waffle is at least
  25. theoretically a BBS program, and that you're the sysop (or SYSTEM
  26. 0PERAT0R, as Tom Dell likes to put it).  USER.DOC is the manual for the
  27. users, the people who dial up and attempt to use your BBS.  Since you're
  28. in charge, it's up to you to decide what cookie submissions may or may
  29. not contain.  Therefore, "bufu" can be loosely translated as "that which
  30. the SYSTEM 0PERAT0R does not allow".

  32. If, like me, you're running Waffle as a single-user mail-and-news
  33. program, you can include anything you smegging well want to in your
  34. cookies (except for |, of course).  If you do run it as a BBS, you will
  35. probably want to modify USER.DOC before you give it to users, and spell
  36. out exactly what you don't allow in cookie submissions: puns, lyrics
  37. from the Rocky Horror Picture Show, campaign slogans for Pat Robertson,
  38. or whatever ticks you off the most.  :-)
