- Any Wafflers who happen to follow jock-college football will have observed
- that in recent years most of the bowl games have been renamed after various
- commercial interests. Believe it or not, one of Today's games was called the
- "IBM OS/2 Fiesta Bowl"!! Tom Dell, are you going to be upstaged by IBM?
- You'd better start planning now for the 1994 Waffle Bowl! With a couple of
- teams and a place to play, you can burn Waffle into the consciousness of the
- American public right alongside of OS/2! A Silicon Valley site for the game
- would be most appropriate, of course, e.g. Stanford Stadium or Candlestick
- Park. For teams, I suggest UC Berkeley (Unix) vs U of Washington or U of
- Seattle (MS-DOS). Maybe you could even get the International House of Pan-
- cakes to help with the funding. (BTW, I don't want any credit for the idea;
- just consider it to be my gift to the Waffle community!) :^)
