  17. I took the USER.DOC file and editted it down from 50K to 35K and
  18. named it NEWUSER.DOC.  I tried to pare it down to just the
  19. basics, leaving only what I felt a newuser would need.

  21. I then added an \extern file that allows immediate ZMODEM download
  22. without having to navagate the FILES subsystem.  Folks with
  23. terminal software having auto ZMODEM detection get the file
  24. easily.

  26. Splash and the sign-up screens notify the newuser of the
  27. existance of this \extern command.
