- Thanks to all those wonderful people (both of them) who helped me out with the
- WWIVedit setup. Although your solutions worked, I ended working out a third
- solution which allows me to use the 'local' setup when a user is locally logged
- in, and a 'remote' setup when.....shall we say... remotely logged in.
-
- If anybody would like a copy of my solution, feel free to E-Mail me directly.
- I will be more than glad to send you a copy of my solution to the problem and
- it works very well...
-
- Now for a curiosity question: Is there any way to convey the title & the
- recipient of a message (be it a newsgroup or a specific user) to a file or a %
- variable (that isn't in the docs?) I'm just looking for a way to make WWIVedit
- more user friendly by being able to display under Title, the actual title of
- the message and under Dest, the actual destination. Under Dest for posting I
- am able to bring up the newsgroup name, but I would really like to be able to
- under mail put up the recipients name instead of the last newsgroup joined.
- Putting the title up would also help remind users what they started writing
- about before they side-tracked.
-
- Thankx again for any help, please E-mail me your solution or replies. I will
- post a note again if or when a solution is found. Thanx
