- I recently upgraded our modem to a 14.4k model. As part of that process
- I have installed a fossil driver and locked the baud rate at 19.2KB.
-
- I believe our mail feed uses Telebit Trailblazer modems. When we
- connect, we agree on a baud rate of 9600 baud with no error correction
- protocol. We can successfully call them, but when they call us, we get
- large numbers of errors and the line is dropped. I thought the problem
- might be with them, but have also noticed similar problems with another
- site that occasionaly calls us using a 2400 baud modem.
-
- When my home machine calls in at 14.4kb, all is well. We do have
- hardware handshaking enabled.
-
- Any suggestions would be appreciated.
