- DOS files. If Waffle used binary mode, it wouldn't stop reading at the
- ^Z. Of course it's more of a pain to access in bindry mode, you have to
- manually scan for new-lines.

- No. I'm still in the Waffle domain. The original complaint was that ^Z
- chopped off a news message. We got the answer: "It's DOS's fault, it
- treats ^Z as EOF". My answer is: "It's Waffle's fault for trusting DOS's
- default access mode". If it this was an important issue, it could be easily
- fixed. The question is: "Is it worth the effort to fix Waffle?" I don't
- think that ^Z in news messages is a major problem.
