- Sorry, Ralph. It didn't come out the way that I was thinking it.
- You probably aren't aware of the problems because there are sites
- that can't reach you because their host doesn't recognize you. It's
- not your or the requestor's fault all the time. When it gets fixed,
- it's fixed! Nothin to yell at you about because it's not your fault.
- I was experiencing this with my site for a while. Some items would
- make it to you (I guess. They didn't bounce back.) and some
- wouldn't. It wasn't your fault. It wasn't mine (I don't think). It
- turned out that when my feed site changed names, they forgot to
- register their uucp map. In the process of changing (actually, the
- machine changed too), something got lost and mail to anywhere but IU
- or any of it's direct neighbors (UUCP) would bounce. I have
- successfully received a few files since things were fixed (I think).
- The entire time this was happening (about 3 months), I was thinking
- to myself, "How many other sites go through this and never get out of
- it?"

- Jonathan R Herr I can't quit you, babe.
- herrj@valnet.uucp I guess I'll have to put you down
- WVCF System Administrator For a little while ....
