  22. They do indeed.  So can I run Waffle as a BBS and plug UFGate in to do my
  23. gating?  Can I plug in FredMail (alone) and let IT do the gating for my
  24. Waffle bbs?  And count on it not to crash?  Are the docs to EITHER of these
  25. understandable?  Usable?

  28. paragraphs?  Ever notice messages coming from Joe.Shmoe@<gateway> instead

  31. Amanda is currently the ONLY (and I MEAN ONLY) gating software designed
  32. to gate news between a Waffle site and a Fidonet site.  The other two
  33. you mention are for connecting Fidonet sites to Usenet; any other use
  34. is a kludge or a hack, depending on how you look at it.

  36. Erin is the mail counterpart to Amanda; and both are designed to work with
  37. a Waffle *BBS*, not Waffle executables.  Big difference.
