  16. When I drew up the draft charters of these newsgroups in
  17. consultation with Keith and Samuel among others I couldn't, of
  18. course, know absolutely for sure how useful the idea would be in
  19. actual practice.  But I was sure enough to drive the idea through,
  20. at times, even with some coercion, if you will.  Now after just a
  21. few days I can say from the co-moderator's point of view that this
  22. is very convenient, indeed, and at the very least makes the
  23. moderators' own work quite a lot easier and more clearcut.  If the
  24. gentle users feel the same way, all the better.  I am *not* saying
  25. this to elicit thanks, nor to be vindicated.  I simply am very
  26. pleased with this new arrangement.  Thanks for the confidence, and
  27. thanks for getting this under way with your postings, which all have
  28. been on topic.
