  16. First, this is not a review ... But for users of the Math. Expression
  17. Calculator (MEC) (mathfc23.zip), a program in the useful-program-list,
  18. they will find Daniel Corbier's Ultimate Calculator (ucalc12.zip) to be
  19. a good substitute ... Indeed the later is a superset of the former ...
  20.  
  21. While both MEC and ucalc can evaluate standard mathematical expressions, 
  22. the latter can also handle (simple) intergrations and summations, and 
  23. solve equations ... With MEC, you can only define twenty functions and 
  24. variables, but with ucalc, you can put many more of these to the file 
  25. ucalc.def ...

  27. Other merits of ucalc include better online help and documentation than MEC
  28. ... probably as ucalc is a shareware (for US $15) whereas MEC is a public
  29. domain program ... :)

  31. Yes ... this is not a review ... With a backlog of 40 or so programs, I
  32. really have no time to seriously review any program ... The above is
  33. what I know of ucalc after trying it for several times ... All I can
  34. say for sure is that you will like ucalc ...
