  25. Timo, why do you not see that your postings make the problem worse not
  26. better?  To _one_ off-charter post you have now posted _two_ responses 
  27. (that I have seen so far).  If you had not responded, or if you had
  28. responded in email, we would not have this thread at all.

  30. These incessant repetitions are exactly like a preacher in church berating 
  31. the congregation because attendance is so low.  The people who need to 
  32. hear the message don't hear it because they're not there; the people who 
  33. do hear the message don't need to.

  35. Experience shows, in every newsgroup, that no amount of posted
  36. reminders will stop off-charter articles from being posted.  Even a
  37. moment's thought shows the reason.  Off-charter articles come from 
  38. people who post without first reading the charter or anything else: they
  39. just subscribe and post.  Nothing, repeat nothing, that you post will
  40. solve the problem, because the people who cause the problem don't read
  41. the group before they post.
