  14. The preliminary advance program and registration information for CAIA-93
  15. (the 9th IEEE Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Applications) is
  16. now available.  The conference will be held March 1-5, 1993 at the Disney
  17. Yacht & Beach Club Resort Hotel in Orlando, Florida, USA.  To receive an
  18. automatic response with the advance program and registration information

  21. For eight consecutive years, the IEEE Computer Society's Conference on
  22. Artificial Intelligence for Applications has provided an international
  23. forum for the exchange of ideas, techniques, and experiences in the
  24. application of AI to real-world problems. During this time, CAIA has
  25. established itself as a key conference for business and technical people
  26. who want to keep up on the fast-changing word of commercial AI.  This
  27. year, the ninth annual CAIA will continue that tradition by providing a
  28. provocative mix of introductory, intermediate and advanced talks,
  29. tutorials, workshops, and panels.  The plenary talks will be given by
  30. Patrick H. Winston (MIT) on Database Mining, Wendy Lehnert (UMASS) on
  31. "Portability and Scalability for Information Extraction Systems" and Frank
  32. Mayadas (Alfred T. Sloan Foundation) on "Computer Technology Outlook and
  33. Applications"

  35. CAIA-93 will be held at the Disney Yacht & Beach Club Resort Hotel, a
  36. world class hotel on the Disney property.  Due to some special
  37. circumstances, we have obtained exceptionally good rates.
