  13. A friend of mine has to solve an optimization problem 
  14. using fuzzy logic. The cost function is multi-valued
  15. and it contains logical functions, so there are
  16. hard non-linearities.

  18. The "fuzzy logic" component of the optimization should
  19. be involved in directing the search for the
  20. optimum solution.

  22. I would like to know if there has been anything
  23. similar done before. Pointers & references would be
  24. greatly apreciated.
