  11. On the ski cost front, I've been dealing with a new company in Colorado
  12. called Rock Solid Fax Attractions that does short-notice high discount
  13. deals. They say they've struck deals with several ski areas to resell
  14. packages that aren't going to sell out, then sell or email out a weekly
  15. list. Although most of their business is with out-of-staters that want
  16. airfare, there are a number of lodging and lift only offers. My personal
  17. favorite was sending eastern members of my family to Crested Butte for
  18. four nights for $499 each, including the airfare. (They also do biggies like
  19. Vail and Aspen for more money).
