- The current rate of inflation is about 4%. The last price raise was three
- years ago. 6.75*(1.04)^3 is about $7.60. While I believe the $6.75 price to
- be over-priced as well, I imagine they're trying to retain approximately the
- same level of profits.

- Second run movie houses play films that have completed their run at a first
- run house. First run houses get movies when they are released. While rare
- because it is expensive, some films go into 'wide distribution' often appear
- at second run houses. Third run, like colleges, take what is available, when
- they become available. For example, shows currently at the Plaza I & II are:
- Candyman, Hero, Husbands and Wives, and Mr. Saturday Night. This may be
- considered second-run, but these movies have been out much longer.
