- Wonderful group of people, our NDP government. When they should be
- dogmatic, they're pragmatic; and, when they should be pragmatic, they're
- dogmatic. Somebody should explain to these yahoos that if they support
- these people, then the "menatlly challenged" will spend this money in the
- new casinos, thus improving the economy. Unbelievable.
-
- All kidding aside. The people most affected by this move need our support.
- They are confused as to what is going to happen to them and they are doing
- quite well, thank you, under the current program (I guess that's why it's
- being cut). To those of us who work in the Federal government, we know
- these people as the people who come in and empty our blue boxes or who
- water our plants. They are friendly and talkative. One thing they are
- more than willing to talk about is this latest bit of madness.
-
- I strongly suggest that we inform our MPP's about the concerns of those who
- are supposed to benefit from this latest bit of government help. It
- doesn't help one bit, however.
