  14. Some areas do not require a vehicle to be smogged every two years.  This
  15. is the case where I live (western Sonoma County).  I think it has
  16. something to do with the fact that the government considers this to
  17. be a low polution area, whatever that means.

  19. Many people try to get mailing addresses in these areas in order to avoid
  20. the semi-annual smog inspection.
