- I agree completely. I have a pair of DCA Fastlink modems, a pair of
- T2500's and a WorldBlazer. All have been in continuous service without
- fail. The Fastlinks (first batch of Telebit modems produced) have been
- operational since the early/mid 80's. Over the years Telebit has
- provided software upgrades with additional features quickly and either
- free or at very low cost.
-
- The Fastlink modems are still, years later, the only modems capable of
- sustaining an error free data path from San Diego to rural southern Mexico.
- They maintain a stable connection over phone lines where the signal
- often drops completely for seconds at a time. A path you can't hold a
- normal voice conversation over. We would upgrade the modems to
- Worldblazers, but in truth, see no need. What we have works very well.

- Nothing but rave reviews from this happy camper..
