- I must have had Charlton Heston on my mind...and not else, assuming it's
- worthy of the term 'mind' these days. ^much
- Tomorrow is the big conference with the drs. as to whether to take my
- friend's father off life-support, and I'm on my way over there to, to,
- I don't know, sit pre-shiva or something... He's held on for 2 weeks now,
- and if both cop's guns hadn't each jammed after the first round we wouldn't
- be facing this...
- I'm sorry, guys, but this has really busted my cool. Anybody ever hear of
- a retired surgeon without medical insurance? You have now. And my roof is
- leaking. It just keeps getting better and better... And I had such high
- hopes for 1993, too. Oh, well, it's early yet, right?
