- At the time you first mentioned your intention, I was tempted to point out
- this risk of owning a late model red or yellow car... that's just asking for
- trouble from the police. I own two cars.. '76n aqua HX Holden and a '72
- white '72 Datsun 1200, while both cars are capable of excessive speeds they
- seem to slip by unnoticed by the local fuzz. OTOH a friend who used to own a
- red late model Civic had to sell it after paying out thousands of dollars in
- speeding fines. He is a lousy driver, but he hasn't been pulled up once since
- he's been driving a white '76 Ford Cortina in the last 12 months.
