  12. My hair dryer has been fine all over Europe (even when I had to scrape off
  13. part of the plug because I forgot to take the plug adaptor).  The secret is
  14. to make sure that your hair dryer has a switch on it to flip back and forth
  15. between the different voltages.  No converter is necessary except to make
  16. the plug fit the outlet.
