  12. I hope the listserv hasn't died again.  The response I just sent to Joan's
  13. question hasn't made it back here yet.  I think I answered her question
  14. improperly with a flat "no" to "does anybody know the origins...?"  I meant
  15. that *I* don't know them.  Somebody else might.  Now I'm mainly babbling
  16. along on the computer to avoid getting ready to go out into the cold morning
  17. to play tennis since I don't want to go.  I don't even like tennis very
  18. much.  Since it's now 8:20, however, and since I'm supposed to be at the
  19. tennis courts at 8:30 and am not even dressed yet, perhaps I should bite
  20. the bullet and log off.  Yuck.
