- extraction [more less than more in my case] eat pickled herring for good luck
- in the new year. Ours came out of the kosher case in a local supermarket.
- It tasted pretty good, too - herring in wine sauce with lots of onions. One
- of these centuries I'll have to learn to make my own, but until then, ACME
- and Nathan's will have to do it for me.:-)
