  14. A joint effort by people at various places around the world to do a
  15. sociological study of lists.  When a couple of WORDS-Lers expressed wild
  16. paranoia about having their words read, WORDS-L was dropped from the tentative
  17. list of interesting lists to look at.  I'm not sure what has happened with
  18. the project since then.  The idea for the project was conceived last May or
  19. June on the CMC list.  Another list, PROJECT-H, was created for the people
  20. actively interested in the project.
