  12. Just before I left this list to lead a healthy life for a week, I was
  13. witness to a phenomenon so incredibly distasteful that its aftertaste
  14. still lingers. Believe it or not, but I got an email from some losers
  15. styling themselves "emergency listserv". I will not mention names ...
  16. but ... You Geeks! You write boring letters to the list for the major
  17. parts of your lives, and then for a hobby you write about the same
  18. darned topics to the same darned people in private mail! Just what is
  19. it that motivates you to start emergency listservs on top of all this?
  20.  
  21. Next time there is a hiatus in the listserv for a microsecond take the
  22. opportunity to experience the rest of the world in its numerous and
  23. diverse aspects. There is a whole universe out there. You could watch
  24. TV. Or maybe even play a video game or something! Get out of this list-
  25. serv frenzy for a while and you'll get to know what life is.
