- That hasn't happened here yet. I've always thought that it was due to their
- short shelf-life... how do your supermarkets cope with that problem? Most
- people I know prefer fresh blackberries to the 'semi-cooked' variety that we
- can only get in cans. Another fruit that we rarely see in the shops is
- Mulberries - they grow very well in this area (a recollection of my childhood)
- yet few people have Mulberry trees anymore and they are not marketed even in
- tins as far as I know.
