  21. My singing caused our high school choir director to admit that he had
  22. finally met someone who was hopeless.  My singing causes small children to
  23. turn around in church and fix me with painful stares.  My singing caused
  24. my own children to plead, "Please, Mommy, don't sing."  My singing became
  25. confined to December 15, my dad's birthday, when I would sing "Happy
  26. birthday" to him.  My singing has now ceased entirely.
