- ggs, do you think the TOUCHTON might be a dumb idea? Just wondered,
- as I am currently involved in installing a touchtone voice response system
- for our local Financial Aid Office and think it's a great idea. We will
- be able to give much better service to our students. The replies to many of
- students financial aid questions can be automated, allowing the student to
- obtain information at any time of day, day of week, without having to make
- a special trip to the financial aid office, or trying to reach a counselor
- on the phone (which is near impossible, when about 15,000 students try to
- call about 10 people all on the same day). So, is it the list that is a bad
- idea, or the service?
