- Greetings,
-
- I find a deeply held belief in "racial purity" no more difficult to stomach
- than a deeply held belief in a "personal savior," in "original sin," in
- "Jesus, son of god," in "the divine right of kings," in "free-market
- economics," or in a host of other things in which lots of people at one time
- or another have held dear.
-
- I belittle and mock such beliefs as I have the wit and opportunity to do so.
- I dispute the argument that mocking and belittling beliefs "does no one any
- good." In point of fact, satire and mockery are highly effective tools of
- discourse. I much prefer them to bombs and punji sticks, myself.
