  28. You will need win.zip, the handiest windows file compressor/decompressor I
  29. have seen. Its available on compuserv in winadv forum. Latest release is
  30. 3.2. There is a beta 4.x available in the same place, but I havent tried it.
  31. Since virtually all shareware is compressed in zip or lzh format, this program
  32. is a must. For lzh format, you will need lha.exe, probably in the same place
  33. on compuserv.

  35. I personnally like Norton Desktop for Windows, and wouldn't run win without
  36. it. However, for some people it has been incredibly difficult to install and
  37. use. A few of the available tools, (scheduler and screen blanker, to name 2)
  38. are not 100% stable for all configurations. I don't use them. You will want
  39. a graphics viewer such as wingif or paint shop pro and a font utility.
  40. Someone else should come in on font utilities as I am not excited about the
  41. ones I have. You should also get the Windows Resource Kit from microsoft.
