  15. The way I detect a user's individual configuration is by setting a few
  16. environment variables when they boot up and then I can use generic batch
  17. files to configure their PC.  I use the variables for things such as their
  18. preferred printers and common file areas.  It works for me without any fancy
  19. utilities.
