  17. I have been using MusicTime from Passport. It is a slightly diluted version
  18. of Encore, their main offering in this area. I have seen Encore on sale for
  19. under $400, MusicTime is much cheaper (I think I paid $150). Both are very
  20. fine products. Two other major biggies: Music Printer Plus (Temporal Acuity)
  21. and Finale (Coda) are very good. I believe Finale is regarded as the top-of-
  22. the-top but there is a Finale-Lite offered by Coda, I can't remember what
  23. it's called. Reviews I've seen preferred MusicTime to the Finale-Lite.

  25. Music Printer Plus was not a windows product and it was more difficult to
  26. learn. But it did a beautiful job. The vendor, Temporal Acuity, is very
  27. reliable and straight-up, I've dealt with them on various occasions regarding
  28. other products.

  30. To reiterate, MusicTime is an excellent choice but you're limited to systems
  31. of 6 staves maximum.
