- For any of you following this discussion on SCSI controllers and double
- buuering, there is really good article in PC/Computing (Nov, 1992;p. 116) in the
- Windows Superguide section of the magazine. It describes bus-mastering
- controllers and their interaction with Windows. Vince Scarafino hit it
- right on the nose. That is why I enjoy this list; because the wealth of
- prompt and *correct* knowledge that comes through. BTW, this particular
- issue of PC/Computing is a *must have* for those who want to know
- exactly what files that come windows do exactly. It goes line by line
- through win.ini and system.ini, with suggestions on how to modify the contents
- to maximize perfomance.
