- Sorry to bring this up again, but despite the responses I got earlier, we
- are still no closer to being able to print out phonetic fonts - we were
- unable to get hold of several shareware/ftp files, and those that we did
- were not compatible with our laser printer (I think). We did get hold of An
- IPA disc for the Mac, but it did not seem to include a schwa, which I need;
- we have not heard from Adobe about their fonts yet.
-
- SO: can anyone give me an address of a supplier of fonts that will enable
- me to print out British/American English phonemes (N.B. the schwa is
- essential) either on a Mac or a PC (preferably for Wordperfect 5.1), using
- a Texas MicroLaser printer? Addresses anywhere are fine, but addresses in
- the UK will be especially welcome as our head of dept is off there soon.
-
- Thank you very much in advance and a merry christmas to all.
