- Phil,
-
- While I'm not aware of the specifics of how the Internet Gateway is handling the
- situation you describe, I don't believe it explains the specific situation Bill
- is experiencing. I have experienced some breaks in receiving the SAS-L mail
- which I couldn't explain but after dropping and re-activating my subscription it
- has been fine. I haven't had any problems receiving SAS-L mail for several
- months. My advice to Bill is to SIGN-OFF and then SUB SAS-L and see if this
- cures the problem.
-
- I reproduce below the note from LISTSERV management on proper destination for
- LISTSERV commands as opposed to posting to SAS-L for clarity.
-
- " You may leave the list at any time by sending a "SIGNOFF SAS-L" command to
- LISTSERV@TCSVM.BITNET (or LISTSERV@VM.TCS.TULANE.EDU). Please note that this
- command must NOT be sent to the list address (SAS-L@TCSVM) but to the LISTSERV
- address (LISTSERV@TCSVM).
-
- Virtually,
- The LISTSERV management"
-
- Hope this helps even if I can't explain the cause of Bill's problem.
