  29. Yes, I think I can.

  31. MCI, when it implemented its Internet->MCI mail gateway decided that it was
  32. critical for its users that each recepient receive the mail at the same time.
  33. They felt that this is what their users wanted - I suspect it has to do with
  34. letting people know about RFP's etc.  In any case this lead to the decision
  35. that if a single piece of mail came that was addressed to several folks and
  36. one or more of them could not have the mail delivered to them, e.g. they no
  37. longer had an account, then the mail would not be delivered to any of them and
  38. would be returned to the sender.

  40. In response to complaints, MCI has indicated that they will change this, but
  41. have not promised a date for it.  If this affects you, you should let the MCI
  42. Mail folks know about your desires and perhaps they will increase the priority
  43. of this project.
