- Accordinbg to a News release from SI:
-
- SAS/ACCESS now provides interfaces to ORACLE and SYBASE on Sun4
- workstations running Solaris 1.0. The products offer direct and
- transparent access between SAS and ORACLE and SYBASE databases. In
- addition, support for SQL Pass-Through is available for read and write
- access without the need to convert or reenter data.
-
- The SAS/ACCESS interfaces support ORACLE's SQL*NET, allowing users to talk to
- ORACLE data on remote systems such as VMS.
