- 0000 (Ok, I don't know WHY my disk was 1, and the new one is 0.) Anyway,
-
- I've seen similar situations on a number of occassions and it is
- usually the result of changing the cabling order of the devices in
- the SCSI chain and power-cycling. hdisk1 was addr 0 before you
- added yours and your new one became hdisk0 even with an addr of 1.
- This is perfectly normal and will not in itself cause any problems.

- I wouldn't worry about the diagnostic failure, just try adding
- your new disk to either rootvg or create a new volume group and
- add it. Then when you run diagnostics it should complete
- successfully.
