  18. OK, here's something to stew on over the holidays, since I won't be back to
  19. read any replies until 4 January:
  20.  
  21. We currently run with psulias.bitnet as our local host alias; we have both JNET
  22. for BITNET access and Multinet for SMTP/Internet access.  We've been asked to
  23. combine with all other nodes within the university and use Internet, not
  24. BitNet, as the preferred interface.  That is, change our local host alias to
  25. psulias.psu.edu, but then some....  If a node is not suffixed by a domain
  26. specification, we want it to default to .psu.edu, making it required that any
  27. BitNet Email have the pseudo-domain specification of .BITNET on it in order to
  28. not be mapped to a local (and probably non-existant) Penn State node.
  29.  
  30. What's the simplest way to do this?  What of the things we're doing now (e.g.,
  31. processing Bitnet XMAILER.NAMES files every month, etc.) would change?  Here's
