- This is due to the default MAPPINGs in MAILSERV, which as you know allows
- other to subscribe another. I tend not to agree with the defaults,
- however I will send you a file that should show you how to fix the problem.
- You will have to recompile & all that good stuff after you do it.

- ----- Mapping info file ----
- This files explains the contents of the file pmdf_root:[table]mappings.
- written by Bob Martin -- 21-Oct-92
-
- The below lines allow customization of the MAILSERV functions and are
- NOT fully documented with this version of the PMDF Manual.
-
- The 1st line is considered the 'mapping name'. The other lines are in
- this format:
-
- command-keyword|command-parameter|address or
- command-keyword|command-parameter|address-1|address-2
-
- line 2 allows the user Martin@eku.bitnet to subscribe ANYONE to the list
- 'bobs-list'. Line 3 disallows people from subscribing other users to the
- same list. Line 4 allows Martin@eku.bitnet to unscribe ANYONE from the
- list 'bobs-list'. 5 allows folks to send ALL commands to MAILSERV with
- reference to 'bobs-list' -- like UNSUB BOBS-LIST, but only for
- themselves. The 6th line allows anyone to get a list of subscribers for
- any List that is available.
