  17. I have had difficulties have downlodaing PostScript files to
  18. our Hungarian printer's RIP4/Linotronic 300.
  19.  
  20. PageMaker 4.2 files have been printed to disk as PostScript
  21. and then translated from Macintosh into MS-DOS format
  22. through Apple File Exchange. Such files have included EPSF
  23. files originated in Adobe Illutrator 3.2 and other programs, for
  24. example, DeltaGraph. The PageMaker files have been printed
  25. to disk using L_300471.PPD, according to Linotype's
  26. instructions. The Illustrator files were saved with
  27. Header and No Preview options checked before
  28. importing.

  30. Such files were downloaded successfully to an Apple
  31. IINTX and also to a RIP 2/Monotype 600 dpi proofing
  32. device from the Hungarian's IBM compatible.

  34. Text and native PageMaker elements were
  35. successfully downloaded to the Linotronic but none of
  36. the EPSF files. However, Adobe Illustrator files not
  37. imported into PageMaker were successfully downloaded
  38. to the same imagesetter as native files.
