  12. Howdy,
  13. I'll be teaching a class on DTP at a University here in Vienna,
  14. and I was interested in any books that you might feel are best
  15. for the class.

  17. I've taught the class already using "Using PageMaker 4 for Windows"
  18. by Que publishers. The class was o.k., but the book really bombed.
  19.  
  20. The administration has asked that the students learn PM, basic
  21. design and publishing. This will all be done on PCs running Windows.

  23. A book that I'm interested in foisting on my students is "Publishing
  24. in the Electronic Age" (or something like that) by Jan White. Can
  25. you tell me of other books that may better and/or a PM book that
  26. would do the job?

  28. Thanks for the help. BTW, this should probably be sent to me
  29. personally so the list doesn't get cluttered. With that in mind,
  30. I'd like to ask the list to tell me if they're interested in hearing
  31. the results. If I'm overwhelmed with responses, I'll post the results
  32. along with a plea for mercy.
