- Hi!
-
- I'm a 'Network-assistant' at our school, that means that I'm in charge off
- all the machines in the net. We are running NW 3.11 and 386's...
-
-
- My problem is that before I came, my boss put 80 mb HD's, in all our
- machines. The PC's are supposed to boot from those disks.
- The problem is that the students found that the local disks was a great
- place to storing games (and other things too..) on.
- When the games require more games than they get with the net-drivers loaded,
- the simply change the autoexec.bat and config.sys files, but don't care
- change it back afterwards....
- I'm using aproximatly 1,5 hours a day fixing the mess, and thats not what I
- find particulary funny...
-
- We are also running Windows, a combinaton between running from disk, and
- swapping to disk.
-
- What I was looking for a way to protect the local disks......
- Parhaps a kind of password-program, that can't be bypassed???
-
- What are YOU doing?????
-
- Thanks in advacne!
