  13. I'm a 'Network-assistant' at our school, that means that I'm in charge off 
  14. all the machines in the net.  We are running NW 3.11 and 386's...

  17. My problem is that before I came, my boss put 80 mb HD's, in all our 
  18. machines. The PC's are supposed to boot from those disks.
  19. The problem is that the students found that the local disks was a great 
  20. place to storing games (and other things too..) on.
  21. When the games require more games than they get with the net-drivers loaded, 
  22. the simply change the autoexec.bat and config.sys files, but don't care 
  23. change it back afterwards....
  24. I'm using aproximatly 1,5 hours a day fixing the mess, and thats not what I 
  25. find particulary funny...

  27. We are also running Windows, a combinaton between running from disk, and 
  28. swapping to disk.

  30. What I was looking for a way to protect the local disks......
  31. Parhaps a kind of password-program, that can't be bypassed???
