- I can think of three potential solutions to this problem, first is to run
- a packet driver shim over ndis (pktdrv.dos- is the one I have seen) and then
- run a packet driver ipx over that. (Kind of a memory hog way of doing it
- but then ndis has never been exactly slim anyway)
-
- Option number two is to use the ndis ipx available from NetManage.
- Phone is (408) 973-7171. The package name is IPX/link. I think that the
- cost was a rather pricey $150 per workstation.
-
- ODINSUP is the third option. It comes with dosup6.zip and I think
- dosup5.zip. Available from novell's ftp site. It lets you run ndis
- packages over an odi protocol stack. I haven't used this method but I think
- that if I wanted to solve the problem for any number of users it would be
- the first method I would try.
