- Yes, we have been using NNS throughout the Antarctic Program for about 2 years
- now. It has its problems, but nowhere near as big a headache as managing 700
- users on 10 servers. Novell is still shipping v1.0 NNS, but have issued a newer
- NETCON.EXE (as NETCON.ZIP on Compuserve/Mirror Sites).
-
- Our Denver network has 220 users on 3 servers and NNS works quite well.
- Our McMurdo Station network has ~750 users on 5 servers, but NNS has had
- several synch problems, which I suspect to be related to the T-1 bridges (slow)
- linking the servers throughout the MAN. We have just installed fiber backbones
- and synch'ed the MAN one last time (we hope). I feel quite confortable with
- the NNS solution until Netware 4.0 is out. Hope this helps.
