- I am thinking about alternatives for setting up 800 users on cc:Mail. I
- know cc:Mail may not be the best email option, but that is not a variable. All
- users are currently scattered across 15 networks. All 15 of the networks are
- Novell 3.11, 100 or 250 User. Each network contains their own mail system, some
- cc:mail, some will need to be converted.
- One option I am thinking about is setting up a Super Server (Compaq
- Syspro probably) with the 1000 User License. All users would log in to their
- respective servers, and then attach to the one Super Server to access their
- mail.
- I have heard that the 1000 User License is "flakey", so I was wondering
- if anyone has had any experience with it. We will not need to load too many
- extranious NLM's, probably just the Macintosh Support. I was also wondering if
- anyone has had more than 500 cc:mail users in one database before on a Novell
- platform. We forsee some problems there also.
-
- Please respond to me directly, if there is enough interest, I will post a
- summary of the responses on the Bulletin Board. My address is:
