- This will work if the cause of the problem is users shutting their
- machines off without logging out. However, it is perfectly possible
- for the users to log out but leave their machines on, or to establish
- a connection by running *NET? but not log in. In either case, the
- machine responds correctly to watchdog packets and will never be
- disconnected if its state remains the same.

- The solution, as pointed out by others, is the NLM that clears
- connected-but-not-logged-in connections.
