- Subject: Difference between migrat.zip & 2xto3x.zip?

- Can anyone describe the difference between the 2xto3x.zip set and the
- migrat.zip set?
- It looks to me from the docs that the 2xto3x (2xupgrde.nlm) will only do the
- "in-place" upgrade- turning a single existing 2.1x server- if it's on a 386
- already - into a 3.11 (provided you have the 3.11 upgrade kit).
- And that the Migrat.zip set will do either the above, or an "across-the-wire"
- migration of a 2.1x to a second server running 3.11. And that you can use it to
- merge several servers to one.
- Is there a difference between either package for doing the "in-place"?
-
- Thanks,
