- I had a very bad luck with this backup unit, I had to put an
- effort to restore all the trustee and group information and of course
- there is no information in regards to disk space restriction. The mail ID
- directories are there but don't know who own them. The ownership of the
- files are everything belong to the supervisor instead of individual
- users and the list goes on and on. Everything I mentioned above were
- gone and I ended up restoring them manually. I just don't trust with
- that unit. The technical person give me access their BBS to download
- their beta test but still failed. They claimed it works
- with version 2.1x therefore they gave me the BBS number which supposedly
- to work with Novell 3.11 but I had no luck. I don't have a contact with
- the technical person anymore since about a month or so therefore I don't
- know what is their current situation about the Novell 3.11 solutions.
- However, it's good for backing up the DOS files and we use it here for
- backing up our faculty and staff machines. I just bought Trakker 250
- which is manufactured by Colorado and still having difficulty but am
- still waiting their technical person's response to solve my problem.
- Anyway, that's all I can comment about the Backpack maybe someone's
- else on the net have any luck with this and I surely would like to hear that.
